Early Childhood

Hero

PreK-3, PreK-4, and Kindergarten at The Saint Constantine School are about meaningful play and exploration.

Students learn the building blocks of math and language, experience history through art and music, follow the patterns of the church year with Bible stories and activities, and discover the joys of tactile scientific exploration.

In daily story time, students are introduced to great stories, poetry, and song.

As a school day is sufficient to offer the right amount of structured learning for a young mind, none of our youngest students are sent home with homework.

As more and more studies show that young children learn best through active play and connection with the outdoors, all TSCS Early Childhood students spend a significant part of every school day (weather permitting) outside, and participate in a school gardening project, learning about the natural world through outdoor adventures on our natural playground and four acres of fully-fenced green space.
