Financial Aid

The TSCS financial aid priority deadline is February 6, 2026.  Applications submitted by this date will receive highest priority for available funds. The financial aid portal with TSCS will remain open and awards will continue to be made on a rolling basis until funds are fully allocated.

Every family’s financial situation is different.  We, therefore, take an individual approach to each application. Blackbaud Financial Aid Management (BBFAM) analyzes each family’s financial need to determine an amount they can contribute toward their child's education.

Yes.  Families seeking financial assistance from TSCS are also required to apply for the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) school voucher, which opens February 4, 2026.   Please note that TEFA awards replace TSCS financial aid awards dollar for dollar when awarded.

Current families who are receiving financial aid can expect to receive a similar grant each year if the financial analysis from Blackbaud, income, and assets remains approximately the same. However, every family must reapply for financial aid each year and meet all of the stated deadlines. If the current financial picture for the family changes, the tuition assistance award may be adjusted based on the updated information.

Families who apply by the deadline will be notified of financial aid awards by March 1, 2026, along with admissions decisions, so that a family has the appropriate information to make an informed decision.

New families interested in financial aid should apply for financial assistance before they know their admission decision.  All families should make every effort to apply for financial assistance before the deadline of January 31.  Financial aid awards will be communicated on a rolling basis throughout February and March.

You should include all dependents currently living with you or for whom you are providing support. This includes older children attending college or any other relatives who are currently living with you that you are providing support to.

If the dependents you list in the application will live primarily with you, then you should complete the application based on your income and household expenses. If you are remarried, you will need to complete the application and include information about the stepparent's income, expenses, assets, and debt. The non-custodial parent or joint custody parent must also complete an online application. The financial aid committee will use information from both parties in its assessment of financial need.

Blackbaud Financial Aid Management asks that each family applying for assistance provide their most recently completed Federal Income Tax return and W-2's.
