Accountant
Accountant: Description and Responsibilities
The Saint Constantine School (TSCS) has a small team of Accountants who are responsible to:
- Run Accounts Payable, transaction recording, credit card expense reporting
- Update tuition database and tuition accounting and manage Accounts Receivable
- Prepare budget reports; run close process including reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare regulatory filings; maintain accounting files (paper and electronic)
- Teach one or more classes
Qualifications: Accounting experience and/or education. Expertise with Excel. Blackbaud experience a plus. Good communication skills and a proactive customer service approach to responding to issues raised by staff, families and vendors. Detail orientation, confidentiality, and motivation to seek cost-effective approaches. Willingness to “roll up one’s sleeves” and do what is needed. Interest and experience in teaching or coaching K-12 students.

(Denver) Director of School Development
Director of School Development: Description and Responsibilities
The Director of School Development would be charged with engaging the community and establishing a foundation of support for the new school campus in Denver, CO. With the leadership and support of Saint Constantine's National Office staff, the Director of School Development will:
- Work with VP for Advancement to raise funds, build relationships with local supporters and donors, and meet fundraising goals during a two-year school launch timeline.
- Develop and lead local fundraising strategy and implementation plan to grow annual and capital (if relevant) campaigns.
- Develop and administer the fundraising budget to ensure expenses and revenue are within the established plan.
- Establish systems, processes, and tools to maximize fundraising capacity, including overseeing donor management database and working with a data entry volunteer.
- Expand and manage local Giving Societies including the creating of a planned giving program.
- Manage a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects, developing and implementing tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans with the VP of Advancement.
- Work with VP of Schools and local volunteers and committee members to assess ideal location, needs, and process for approvals for a school site.
- Progress location efforts, managing and supervising the process through all required approvals, regulations, and requirements as demanded by the city, county, or state, in conjunction with local volunteers and committee members in relevant fields

Qualifications: Fundraising and recruiting experience, preferably in a Christian school or nonprofit. BA degree in a relevant field. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Classical education background and familiarity with the Great Texts and dialectical education preferred. Familiarity with the Orthodox Church’s ethos, theology, and traditions, and commitment to support it. Excellent writing and communication skills. Excellent community builder and networker.

(Pittsburgh) Early Childhood Homeroom Instructor
Homeroom Instructor (Early Childhood): Description and Responsibilities
The Early Childhood Homeroom Instructor is responsible for the instruction of foundational understanding and skills in core academic and social areas for Early Childhood students. The Instructor will:

Work with the other Early Childhood faculty in establishing an appropriate sequence of skill acquisition.

Teach students to approach the created world, their peers, and their academic subjects in a spirit of wonder, enthusiasm, and diligence.

Model and encourage an understanding of core subjects.

Instructor of Math and Science: Description and Responsibilities
The Instructor of Math and Science is responsible for the instruction of foundational skills, understanding, and theory in math and science classes in multiple grade levels. The Instructor will:

Work with the other faculty of Maths and Sciences in establishing an appropriate sequence of skill acquisition.

Teach students proper methods of approaching mathematical and scientific disciplines and ideas appropriate to the subject/grade level.

Model and encourage an understanding of their subjects and enthusiasm for the pursuit of these disciplines.

Instructor of Music: Description and Responsibilities
The Instructor of Music is responsible for the instruction of foundational music skills, understanding, and theory in multiple grade levels. The Instructor will:

Teach students about the history of music and musical movements.

Expose students to and instruct them about music from a variety of cultures and subcultures.

Teach sight reading and music theory, using voice and instruments.

Instructor of Visual Art: Description and Responsibilities
The Instructor of Visual Art is responsible for the instruction of foundational artistic skills, understanding, and theory in multiple grade levels. The Instructor will:

Work with the other Art faculty in establishing an appropriate sequence of skill acquisition.

Teach students proper techniques, using high-quality, artist grade materials (including crayon, pastel, watercolor, pencil, pen, clay, wax, and more).

Assist in the implementation of Fine Art showcases, competitions, and the school Fine Arts Night.

Model and encourage an understanding of art history and a love and appreciation for the visual arts.
