Jerry Woodfill: NASA Engineer

April 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

On April 13, 1970, Jerry Woodfill heard the words, “Houston, we’ve had a problem” through his headset as he monitored the Apollo 13 mission to the moon from his desk at NASA. With the astronauts stranded over 208,000 miles away in outer space, the circumstances were dire. The events that followed in the next four days have been immortalized through books, television, and film, but we have the exciting opportunity to hear a firsthand account of this famous event and its aftermath.

Join us as Mr. Woodfill presents his lecture “Miracles in Space,” and recounts the series of thirteen life-threatening situations that he and the NASA team solved through human ingenuity and the power of prayer.
